Privacy Policy
How Digi-Litho (Pty) Ltd collects, uses, and protects your personal information, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Last updated: 15 September 2026
1. Who we are
This policy is issued by Digi-Litho (Pty) Ltd ("Digi-Litho", "we", "us"), a company operating two divisions from Van Dyk Secure Business Park, Boksburg Industrial East, Gauteng, South Africa:
- Forklifts: Unit 60, Van Dyk Secure Business Park, Cnr Van Dyk & Brakpan Roads · 066 201 4387 · dwayne@digi-litho.co.za
- Printing & Industrial Supplies: Unit 90, Van Dyk Secure Business Park, Cnr Van Dyk & Brakpan Roads · 011 914 5192/3 · digi-litho@mweb.co.za
Digi-Litho is the "responsible party" under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) for the personal information described in this policy.
2. Information Officer
Digi-Litho has not appointed and registered a separate Information Officer with the Information Regulator. In terms of POPIA, the head of the business therefore acts as Information Officer by default. Any request or query relating to this policy or your personal information can be directed to either division using the contact details in section 1.
3. What we collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us, primarily through the enquiry forms on our Forklifts and Printing & Industrial Supplies pages. This may include:
- Your name
- Your email address and/or phone number
- Your company name, if you provide one
- The content of your message or enquiry
Our typefaces are served from our own server, not a third party. The enquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a third-party service, to tell real visitors apart from bots before a message is sent: it processes your IP address and browser and device signals, and may set a cookie, while doing this check. We do not currently use analytics or tracking scripts, but our cookie banner is built so that we can add privacy-friendly analytics later without changing how consent works; see section 4.
4. Cookies and your choices
Cloudflare Turnstile, described in section 3, always runs when you submit an enquiry form: it's needed to send the form and isn't part of the cookie choice above.
You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page.
5. Why we collect it
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, or otherwise correspond with you about the forklift hire, printing, or industrial supplies services you asked about. This is our lawful basis for processing under POPIA: it is necessary to pursue a legitimate interest of ours (responding to business enquiries) and, where it leads to a contract, to perform that contract.
6. Who we share it with
Enquiry details are emailed to the relevant division by our website host's mail server (CyberCircuit, South Africa) and are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Cloudflare, described in section 3, acts as an operator on our behalf to check that a form submission is from a real person. Cloudflare is a global company and may process this information outside South Africa; it does so under its own standard safeguards for cross-border transfers.
7. How long we keep it
We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to handle your request and, where it results in a hire agreement or order, for the period required by our recordkeeping and tax obligations. Information no longer needed for these purposes is deleted or de-identified. The website itself keeps no copy of an enquiry once it's emailed; our host's mail and access logs keep limited delivery and visitor information (such as IP addresses) for a limited period as a normal part of operating the server.
8. Your rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you and to access it
- Ask us to correct or delete personal information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, or unlawfully obtained
- Object to our processing of your personal information on reasonable grounds
- Withdraw any consent you've given, at any time, including your cookie choice via "Cookie settings" in the footer
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we hold from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access, in line with POPIA's requirements.
10. Complaints
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your personal information, you can lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator:
- Email: complaints.IR@justice.gov.za
- Website: inforegulator.org.za
- Address: JD House, 27 Stiemens Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, 2001
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
